About Us

Weller Mountain Fish and Game Preserve is located in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. The preserve consists of 18,500 acres of forests, ponds and rivers leased from Woodwise Forest Land LLC.

Membership at Weller Mountain offers year-round use of the 9 out camps or the main lodge that sleeps 40 in the bunkhouse.

Our excellent fishing includes numerous stocked ponds with hybrid brook and rainbow trout. The Saint Regis River and Long Pond Outlet offer miles of wonderful trout fishing, which is also stocked yearly. Hunters enjoy the well-managed deer herd in a natural environment. With a maximum membership of 140, Weller members are insured plenty of room to hunt unlike many of the public lands.

We have excellent bird hunting offering ruffed grouse in the fall, also spring, and fall turkey hunting. Weller Mountain has a full-time caretaker on the property year-round. All through hunting season the main lodge has a full-time cook offering three meals a day.

ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts will enjoy the miles of private trails and roads inside the club. With access restricted to club members, Weller Mountain gives you the peace and quiet to enjoy the great outdoors. From the preserve there is easy-gated access to St. Lawrence & Franklin Counties numerous groomed Snowmobile trails. Weller Mountain is a large wintering area for whitetail deer.
